TUTORING SERVICES

Middlesex Educational Services offers tutoring to students in grades K-12 across multiple subject areas. Tutoring services are provided by CT certified teachers with at least 3 years of teaching experience. We currently offer tutoring services in the follow subject areas: Mathematics, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies/History. Homework help across multiple subject areas and SAT Prep is also available!

Elementary School Tutoring

Building a solid foundation is important to future school success.  Address academic weaknesses and enhance strengths early in your child’s developmental years to promote positive school experiences and build confidence.  Certified regular and special education teachers trained in early structured literacy and math interventions.  

Middle School Tutoring

Students who are just at or behind grade level will benefit from individualized tutoring to gain skills in reading, writing, and math.  Students who are advanced may benefit from coaching and previewing in order to stay challenged and motivated.  Content specific tutoring and support available. 

High School Tutoring

The level of independence in high school makes learning difficult for some students.  Demanding courses, increased homework, extracurriculars, and college planning may leave students drained and feeling overwhelmed. High school tutors support in areas of study skills, executive functioning, writing, and mathematics.   As well as, preparation for SAT and ACT.
